Sunday saw us headed to the Immerse winery in the Yarra Valley to see DeLa Soul & Carl Cox perform. There was in a mere 250 people in the open air, dancing along, laughing, drinking amazing wine and just loving the vibe.
The crowd singing along to Toto's classic Africa, boogieing down
to the Jackson Sisters and all time funk classics that pioneered the hip
hop movement. Seeing Carl Cox signing Barry White while his records
skip due to them being 30 years old and not played by Carl in about 20 was pretty damn cool!
Finally having Hip
Hop legends De La Soul perform as the sun greeted us for the first time of the day
was truly unforgettable.
